Fix your follow-up

Shopify Email Automation Without Building Workflows

4 min readUpdated September 14, 2026By Merchant Shortlist editorial desk

The short answer

You can use myuser.ai to handle ongoing email and text follow-up without building a flowchart. It uses your products and shopper activity to decide what to send. You choose the designs, offers, and channels, then activate sending. You still need clear product facts, working signup forms, and one sender for each marketing job.

Name the work you want done

You sell soap, pack orders, and answer questions. Then an email tool asks you to draw boxes, add waits, and write six messages.

The real job is simpler to describe: help interested shoppers take their next step. One person left a cart. Another bought a gift. A third came back to browse.

Those people may need different messages. myuser.ai uses that kind of store and shopper context to handle follow-up for you.

What myuser.ai handles

myuser.ai uses products, visits, carts, and orders. Its AI decides, writes, schedules, and sends personal email or text follow-up. AI means software that makes choices from that information.

New activity can change a planned message. The app can add, change, or remove a follow-up as the shopper’s context changes.

You are not asked to build a fixed path for every case. The myuser.ai demo shows how different shoppers can get different messages. Examples show the idea, not a promise of sales.

What you still choose

You choose designs, offers, and channels. Start with an offer you can afford and product facts you trust. Turn on sending when those choices are ready.

You can review planned sends, change them, and see why the AI chose a message. That does not mean you must approve every email before it can send.

Check your list size and channel needs against myuser.ai pricing. A paid plan and message limits are part of the choice. Automatic does not mean every feature or every send is free.

Check the options already in your store

Shopify Messaging has ready-made marketing templates. These can help with clear, set jobs. Some stores also have access to Shopify Campaign Autopilot, which can suggest marketing actions.

Look at what you want to manage each week. Do you want to keep set rules, or hand ongoing shopper follow-up to myuser.ai?

A special stock task or staff alert may still need a separate tool. Choosing myuser.ai for marketing does not replace every task that Shopify Flow can do.

Switch with a clear sender list

Before you activate a new sender, list your current welcome, cart, and return-visit messages. Our email overlap checker helps you find jobs with more than one owner.

Check the old app’s active rules and queued messages. myuser.ai cannot turn them off for you. Keep order and shipping updates separate from this marketing list.

Form follow-ups and manual sends also have their own controls in myuser.ai. Check those when you pause automatic follow-up or change who sends a welcome offer.

Take one small first step

Start with one clear signup promise and the products people already view. Review your offer, design, and first planned messages. Then watch for questions or wrong details you can fix.

Do not expect any email app to contact an unknown visitor with no usable contact details. It also cannot guarantee more orders.
